Position Overview

The Area Sales Representative will represent the Brand at our major retailers and local events. This role will focus on sales and training (both staff and customers), merchandising, inventory and assisting customers in person. As an Area Sales Rep you will be expected to work flexible hours, including weekends. Ideally, they will live close to the market they are servicing. The Area Sales Rep will be travelling 100% and will be onsite most days (4/5 days). We are currently looking to staff the Chicago, IL/midwest market.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to work weekends and travel; 100% onsite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfortable speaking in front of large groups
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) via personal mobile device (smart phone or surface)
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Able to manage own schedule with integrity
• Must be comfortable working around household knives and practice safety protocol at all times
• 3-5 years of proven sales experience
• 4 year degree preferred
