Job Description
We're hiring a Stores Coordinator - Warehouse Coordinator who will report to our Stores Supervisor in our Lake Charles, LA plant. This person will be accountable for coordinating and overseeing all Warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, issuing, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
Create/update material masters and equipment BOMs
Reconcile daily cycle counts
Produce monthly warehouse KPI’s
Assist with Kitting/MRO work process
Expedites monthly open PO reports
Provide coaching and support to warehouse personnel
Manage repairable items for stores stock
Assist maintenance with parts sourcing
Physical Requirements and Environment
Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator
Required Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or GED
3 years of Warehouse/Maintenance experience working within a manufacturing environment with petro-chemical highly preferred
Proficient using MS Office suite
