W&O Supply is Hiring a Production and Service Coordinator Near Mobile, AL

Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Administer record storage and tagging of all project valves into TESSALink program
  • Data entry of all test and certification(s) into Tessa Link
  • Daily upkeep and data entry of production order log and active/closed status
  • Administer nonconformance reports for defective materials and negotiate return/repair, or replacement with vendors
  • Upkeep of daily production log for order assembly tracking as required
  • Act as backup for working on Assembly of valve/actuator packages
  • Maintain inventory of parts in properly assigned bin locations for production orders
  • Provide proper documentation, valve tracking and job instructions as required
  • Aid with production planning and scheduling for on time delivery
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper manner
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiencies, and quality control where needed
  • Ensure that team follows security and safety policies
  • Aid with execution of job orders and adjust job schedules to meet required deadlines
  • Communicate the status of job orders to internal and external customers on regular basis
  • Ensure all procedural manuals are kept up to date for all applicable assemblies
  • Ensure all required calibration records are maintained and up to date
  • Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Project Management software.
