Job Description:
As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching Plumbing and HVAC to various locations. Your primary duties will include monitoring routes, managing schedules, and ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and prioritize incoming requests for service or deliveries.
Coordinate and dispatch to appropriate locations.
Monitor and track the status of dispatched items and update relevant systems.
Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure smooth operations.
Resolve any issues or delays promptly and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and logs.
Utilize dispatch software and tools to optimize routes and schedules.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
Flexibility to work various shifts. This position is specifically for four 10-hour days, and Saturday and Sunday are a MUST. The schedule is specifically for Every Saturday and Sunday 7:00am – 5:00pm and Monday’s and Tuesday 7:30am – 5:30pm. This would be a Hybrid Remote position, with at least Saturday and Sunday’s being remote. Possibly only one day a week in office.
