W International is a world class metal fabricator located in Goose Creek, SC, specializing in complex critical weldments for the defense, aerospace and commercial markets. W International’s unique facility encompasses 45 acres and over 450,000 square feet of manufacturing space on the Cooper River. W International works on some of the leading projects in the industry and can ship via barge, rail, or articulated vehicle. We are certified to AS9100 Rev. D and ISO9001: 2015, as well as numerous NAVSEA weld and quality certifications.

A technical cleaner’s job requirements, duties, and responsibilities are to ensure that the manufacturing facility is kept cleaned. This is a labor intensive position requiring cleaning and occasionally working in the elements given facility set up. Potential employees should be comfortable wearing personal protection equipment such as Tyvek suites, safety glasses, and a respirator as needed. Steel toed boots are required daily.

• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures and or equipment.

• Must be able to work in confined spaces.

• Mix chemical(s) in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.

• Must attend periodic training and safety meetings.

• Occasionally use ladders, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceiling and dust and polishes equipment.

• Maintain equipment clean and orderly.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the day to day operation of the facility.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must maintain a neat appearance.

• Knowledge of basic cleaning practices, industrial cleaning and responsibilities very helpful.

• Detail oriented.

• Must have good listening and verbal communication skills. Some positions require the ability to speak/understand English.

• Must be self-motivated.

• Safety glasses and steel toed boots are required while performing job duties.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

• Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products and noise.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

• 1-2 years of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired, ideally within a large manufacturing environment.
