Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in construction sitework with an excavation and water service experience. If you have a passion for building and negotiating contracts, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret project plans and specifications
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
- Collaborate with construction management teams to review and finalize project bids
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs and provide cost control throughout the construction process
Experience:
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication skills for contract negotiations
