WHA Insurance is looking to hire a Personal Lines Agent to provide exemplary customer service and partner with other team members to cross sell, team sell, and round out accounts. While this position will lean toward sales and sales functions, some account servicing will be required.

  • Wage negatable based on industry knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Round out existing accounts, gain referrals, and follow up on company-provided leads.
  • Explain policy types and coverages to insureds and prospects.
  • Service existing customers and processing new insurance applications.
  • Process policy renewals and issue certifications as needed or requested.
  • Review quotes, policies, and endorsements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare sales information for customers such as proposals and policy summaries.
  • General account maintenance and data management.

  • Current Property and Causality License in Oregon.
  • Experience in sales and/or customers service in the insurance industry.
