Your Impact 

As a Project Engineer, you’ll execute core tasks that are critical to project operations. You’ll partner with the Project Manager and Superintendent to deliver successful construction projects. Some of the ways you’ll support our projects:

  • You’ll guide the flow of technical information between Owner, Designers, Subcontractors and O’Neil, such as project drawings, specifications, meeting minutes, and proposal requests. 
  • You’ll drive the procurement schedule by tracking, processing, and expediting all subcontractor/vendor shop drawings and submittals.
  • You’ll support the project team by helping to develop and maintain the project schedule, by verifying the quality of products installed, and by acting as a subject matter expert in your assigned responsibilities.
  • You’ll apply critical thinking to resolve contract document issues in the field.

Job Specifications

  • A 4-year college degree, preferably in civil engineering or construction management.
  • 0-3 years of experience as a project engineer for a general contractor or construction management firm.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
