About the Opportunity

Providing direct support to the Sr. Director of Risk Management, the Property & Casuality Insurance Specialist assists with management and administration of .

Mason's Total Cost of Risk. This role is set in a Hybrid work environment, meaning employees will work partly remote and partly in-office, with in-office time required for training.

The reporting in-office location for this role is our Corporate Headquarters, located in Brockton, MA.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Claims Management and Administration : Auto Liability, Auto Physical Damage, General Liability and Workers’ Compensation claim administration, reporting, trending and analysisEstablish monthly / quarterly loss reporting of claims;

identify issues and trendsInvestigate, process and track property damage claims handled outside of insurance programLiaison with Fleet Management Department to ensure claims are reported and property damage claims are processed timelyMonitor and flag key risk indicators and implement corrective actions to mitigate / alleviate property / casualty claimsAttend quarterly Auto Liability, General Liability and Workers’ Compensation claim reviews

• Insurance Renewal : Maintain and update WB Mason’s Schedule of Property valuesResponsible for gathering insurance renewal documentation from internal stakeholders to prepare for submission to insurance brokerPrior experience with high deductible, loss sensitive Property / Casualty programs
• Certificates of Insurance and other duties : Process Certificates of Insurance (COI) requests in accordance with specific insurance requirements as provided by customers / vendorsAdminister Ohio & Washington Workers’ Compensation state filings, quarterly reporting and payment of premiumsVendor management / vendor credentialingMaintain insurance payment schedule, premium invoice reconciliation and process risk management-related invoicesReview contractual insurance provisions to ensure compliance with customer insurance requirements and flag non-standard language to internal stakeholders

• Commercial Property / Casualty experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
• Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated

Qualifications

Education and / or Experience

• BS / BA Degree
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience prior risk management, insurance and / or claim experience
• Strong analytical skills
