Title: Continuous Improvement Coordinator - Temporary

Location: Sante Fe Springs

Summary:

In collaboration with the Continuous Improvement Manager, the coordinator is responsible for assisting in the coordination, integration, and implementation of the organization wide continuous improvement activities to support the site operational goals.

Responsibilities:

Your primary activities will include but are not limited to:

Provides engineering/admin support for manufacturing & lean projects
Utilize Lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, and RCCA to solve problems & eliminate waste
Assists with various projects using engineering software (SolidWorks, CATIA, PatternSmith, etc.)
Working with Operations & Engineering to review and update Standard Work documentation
Perform time studies of Operational processes & update Standard Work accordingly
Maintain project timeline & progress reporting
Analyze data and create reports using BI software and/or Excel
Train Employees on processes and CI Tools

Qualifications:

You’ll need the following (minimum qualifications):

A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma/GED and a pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial, mechanical or structural engineering or equivalent work experience.

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range for this position is $19.00 to $22.00. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
