Take on VYCC’s most rugged and technical trails projects. This is an opportunity for people with trail work experience to build on existing skills and work in the backcountry.

Projects include new trail construction, maintenance, and dry stone masonry. Depart Richmond each Monday morning, camp and work until a Friday return to Richmond.

Tools and most camping gear are provided.

• Position Dates : June 11 to August 10; OR September 3 to November 2.
• Schedule : Monday to Friday; full time
• Weekly compensation : $595
• AmeriCorps Education Award upon completion of service : $1,459.26
• Age requirement : 18
