VVater is a US-based, next-generation water treatment company that aims to provide Water for All Humankind with a cornerstone of sustainability and a promise of a better, healthier tomorrow. Servicing various industries and markets around the world, including Real Estate & Aquatics, Municipal & Wastewater Treatment, Food & Beverage, and Oil & Gas, our focus is on recovering and recycling different waters in a centralized or distributed way. The company also provides recreational quality water for artificial beaches, urban lagoons, wave pools, and surf parks, as well as ultra-pure and potable water for a variety of uses.

Job Description:

As a Copywriter at VVater, you will craft compelling, quality, and on-brand copy, including technical copy. This role will bring our brands' voices to life and build lasting connections with our audiences. The ideal candidate is conceptually creative with a penchant for editing their own writing and grammar, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging and persuasive copy for marketing materials such as website content, white papers, blogs, social media posts, and email campaigns.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand our target audience and create content that resonates with them.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the message aligns with the brand's voice and objectives.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in the companies' numerous verticals.
  • Establish and maintain a brand voice. Refine brand voice guidelines to ensure a cohesive brand identity across all communication channels.
  • Create a compelling short and long-form copy, including ads, emails, blogs, video scripts, internal support materials, and more.
  • Edit copy for accuracy and brand voice.
  • Research strategies to stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and branding.
  • Collaborate with our in-house team to develop various content materials, including marketing and content. This may include but is not limited to appealing landing page copy, website copy, blog posts, reviewing copy on Ads for typos, engaging email campaigns, newsletters, social media, presentations, manuals, and training materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a copywriter or in a similar role, especially in technical / engineering fields.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to translate complex ideas into relatable and compelling narratives.
  • A collaborative spirit, able to work closely with cross-functional teams, and receptive to feedback.
  • Understand and embrace writing for our specific target audience.
  • Has a detail-oriented and proactive mindset; we move quickly and change priorities often.
  • An innovative thinker and enthusiastic storyteller who can capture brand voice quickly.
  • Proficiency in presentation software, e.g., Microsoft Suite and graphic design tools such as Adobe Cloud, is preferred.
