Provide oral health supervision of students providing care to patients in the Dental Hygiene Clinic who are without a dental home, low income, and/or dental insurance. Responsible for the supervision of any of the following types of clinicians; dental hygienists, dental externs or dental residents if providing care for program requirements.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*In addition, there may be times when a patient may request a Comprehensive or Limited oral evaluation by the supervising dentist. Please let us know if you are willing to provide these services with the help of an assistant while supervising at our site.

Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of dentistry with a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree and completed a dental residency program or five years of clinical practice in the field of dentistry.
Note: Preference will be given to applicants with experience in teaching in the dental field.
Special Requirement: Possession of license to practice dentistry in the State of Vermont within six months of hire and current CPR certification. If the dentist is currently practicing clinically they must also provide proof of active DEA license and dental liability insurance.
VSC Non-Bargaining Unit Grade: 12 FLSA: Exempt Part-time, up to 28 hours per week.
Primary location: Williston
