VTG is seeking a Senior Production Technician to be a Subject Matter Expert in Machinery in Marinette, Wisconsin.

• Provide guidance and oversight to for inputs to SUPSHIP and Program Office, monitor and audit contractor shipbuilding production efforts.
• Production Technican may assist in testing, production, or maintenance by supervising production in factories, determining the causes of breakdowns, and the testing of manufactured products to maintain quality.
• Estimate the time and cost to complete projects.
• Works alongside engineering, developer, and specialist personnel to perform rudimentary maintenance, installation, fabrication, test and evaluation, sustainment, and troubleshooting of a number of systems and subsystems.
• Performs all tasking via formally documented processes and procedures.
• Produces low-level technical documents, drawings, and other forms of documentation.

• High School Diploma.
• 10 years relevant professional experience
• 15 years experience in supporting shipbuilding production team
• Experience in supporting Navy Supervisor of Shipbuilding
• Secret Clearance
