VSL Corporate Positions is Hiring a Wellness Specialist Near Portland, OR

Looking for a road warrior with up to 100% travel across any of our 24 communities. Must have a RN compact license & 2 years' experience preferred.
We are looking for a Wellness Specialist to join our team at Volante Senior Living. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the regional team in providing clinical support, guidance, and training by assignment to one of 23 communities across 11 states.
What you'll be doing:
  • Provides guidance and assistance to ensure all wellness standards and initiatives perform to regulatoryand company standards.
  • In tandem with community leadership, develop the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the wellnessdepartment.
  • Assist in supervising wellness department staff and managers in assigned communities.
  • Support the community to ensure all trainings,(orientation, initial training, and ongoing in-service education), meets theneeds of wellness staff as well as state regulatory requirements in assignedcommunities.
  • Supports the health and wellness ofresidents in assigned communities by monitoring care and service delivery,including medication management, to ensure needs are being met, and thatdocumentation supports services provided.
  • Manages labor in wellness department ofassigned communities so that all labor dollars are within operating budget astied to census and acuity.
What you'll bring to the table:
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel on a regular weekly basis with overnight stays.
  • RN with a successful track record in clinical management, quality assurance,training, risk management, and knowledge of regulatory requirements forAssisted Living communities.
  • LPNcandidates will be considered based on individual with relevant education and experience, a desire and willing to work towards an RNdesignation/licensure and if allowed by individual state regulations. 
  •  Unencumbered professional license andqualify for licensure in all assigned states.
