Are you a skilled CNC Machine Operator with a passion for precision and quality? Look no further! Voyager Industries, the proud parent company of Bear Track Trailers™, Yetti Fish Houses™, Titan Deck®, Voyager Dock®, Black Line® Conversions, and Voyager Aluminum™, is seeking a talented CNC Machine Operator to join our fabrication team.
As a CNC Machine Operator at Voyager Industries, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts for our adventure-enabling products. From camping and four wheeling to boating and ice fishing, our products are designed to enhance adventures across all four of Minnesota’s beautiful seasons.
Work Schedule:
- Day shift: 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Overtime may be optional based on business needs.
- Starting pay: $21.90
We are looking for entry level CNC Machine Operators who possess:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools like tape measures, digital calipers, and micrometers.
- Ability to perform simple shop math and convert between decimals and fractions.
- Team player attitude and flexibility to meet the organization’s unique needs.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with 3, 4, and 5 axis mills.
- Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field plus one year machinist experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC equipment.
- Driven and self-motivated
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance for machining centers
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
