Position: Therapeutic Enrichment Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the therapy department to design and implement therapeutic activities and programs for residents.

• Develop engaging activities that promote cognitive communication, social interaction, and emotional well-being.

• Coordinate special programs such as equine-assisted therapy, art therapy, music therapy, and more.

• Conduct assessments to identify residents' interests, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Facilitate group sessions and one-on-one interactions to encourage participation and engagement.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and adjust as needed to meet the evolving needs of residents.

• Stay informed about current trends and research in therapeutic interventions and enrichment activities.

• Maintain documentation and records related to program planning, implementation, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

• Working Vehicle

• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in a therapeutic or recreational setting.

• CPR certification

• Strong creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Willingness to learn new therapies and techniques.
