In 1999, we put our ideals into action, and started Voyage Healthcare in Omaha, Nebraska. After outgrowing our previous office (and in search of better weather), we relocated to our present-day headquarters in Orlando, Florida.

We are looking for a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team and provide support to our physical therapists. The ideal candidate will have a background in physical and rehabilitation medicine, as well as experience in patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with patient treatments, setting up equipment, and providing general administrative support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge and skills in the field of physical therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in providing treatments and exercises to patients.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning up treatment areas.
• Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and gait training.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Assist with therapeutic activities such as stretching, range of motion exercises, and therapeutic modalities.
• Observe patients during treatments and report any changes to the physical therapist.
• Educate patients on proper exercise techniques.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accrediated physical therapist assistant education program.
• PTA licensure.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $29.00 per hour
