This is a 3rd party submission focused cross trained Quality position. The quality specialist will focus on submitting a variety of material to 3rd party auditing bodies and labs and be cross trained in blending, encapsulation, bottling, labeling, and label verification processes throughout the company.

Essential Functions:
Job duties include but are not limited to:

Labels

• Submitting and reviewing labels to submit to 3rd party certifying bodies.
• Working with our label proof team to verify accuracy of labels and claims
• Check physical labels to approved label template
• Sign off on approved labels on invoice
• Make sure that version and revision numbers match
• Make sure quality of label is good, i.e. Color and bleed

Warehouse

• Submitting samples to labs based on required testing and ingredients
• Labeling incoming ingredients
• Sampling incoming ingredients

Blending/Encap/Bottling

• Maintaining that all company SOP's are being followed accordingly.
• Making sure all processes are compliant with 21 CFR 111 and 21 CFR 117.
• Making sure all products are within spec through in-process checks.

Labeling

• Making sure that products match invoice requirements
• Verifying the positioning and accuracy of labels on products
• In-process checks to make sure all other aspects of the bottle comply.

Qualifications:

• One to three years working in quality (Preferred)
• Ability to read and understand English
• Ability to decipher label and label templates
• Ability to work normal computer programs such as email, word documents, excel
• Proof reading skills a must

- Previous experience working as a Quality Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately collect and analyze data.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
- Familiarity with ISO and CFR standards is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
