Who we are looking for:

Vor Biopharma is seeking a highly motivated and eager individual for the newly created Quality Control group. This person will support different QC activities such as analytical method transfer and validation, in-process and finished product testing, environmental monitoring, and raw materials program. Additional activities may include method qualification/optimization, QC investigations, sample management, and equipment maintenance. This position reports to the Quality Control Associate Director.

Key areas of responsibilities:

• Assist with the laboratory setup and QC system implementation
• Support analytical method lifecycle including transfer, qualification, and validation
• Perform in-process, release, and stability testing of cell-based therapies
• Participate in writing and reviewing SOPs. protocols, and reports
• Conduct data review and trending
• Qualification of raw and reference materials
• Assist with change controls, deviations, QC investigations, and CAPAs
• Support sample and material management in the QC laboratory

Skills and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biology, Medical Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of direct QC experience for QC Analyst II; 0-1 years for QC Analyst
• Experience with cell-based therapies is highly valuable
• Experience with molecular and cell biology techniques such as flow cytometry, PCR, and multiplex/ELISA assays is highly desirable
• Knowledge with analytical method transfer and validation is beneficial
• Ability to communicate clearly and enjoy working in a team environment
• Proficient with using Microsoft Office applications
