Requirements
Responsibilities of the Title Clerk Supervisor:

• Supervising and leading a small team to ensure efficient operation.
• Timely processing of both new and used car deals.
• Directly responsible for verifying the costs for the accounting office, including costs of add-ons, additional equipment, and reconditioning.
• Managing the legal transfer of all documents and titles for the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Preparation of various tax and title documents, and process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state where they are to be titled.
• Submit all legal transfer work to appropriate agencies promptly.
• Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information required is complete and accurate.
• Preparation of payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
• Signing over titles for all wholesalers who have paid in full, and preparing a monthly report to management of any funds not collected from wholesalers.
• Processing yearly renewal of dealer tags in conjunction with the Controller.

Qualifications of the Title Clerk Supervisor:

• Minimum3 years of experience as a Title Clerk Supervisor
• 2 years of experience managing people.
• Previous high-volume dealership experience, preferred.
• Knowledgeable of applicable titling regulations and laws required to perform all aspects related to the job.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience working in Tekion is a major plus.
• Current valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
