Volunteers of America(VOA) is a faith-based, nationwide nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. We provide hundreds of service programs, including those for seniors and people with disabilities, those experiencing homelessness, and those recovering from addiction. VOA is one of the nation’s most comprehensive human services charities, offering programs for communities, individuals and families.
VOA is seeking an Intern to support the Office of the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This supporting role offers the selected candidate an exciting opportunity to be responsible for driving operational and execution excellence within the office of a C-Suite executive. This position offers tangible work experience in a collaborative environment where the person in this role will receive personalized training & development opportunities to gain core skills for launching and accelerating a professional career. The purpose of this position is to mentor and develop talented individuals with strong leadership potential, strive for excellence, moxie and level of commitment to continuous learning and strategic thinking capability.
This position extends the opportunity for part-time (up to 29 hours per week) or full-time (up to 30 hours per week) work schedules
The internship is unpaid, however, a stipend is provided
