Salary: $26.70 - $29.10 per hour based on previous experience

Earn 18% (FT up to $34 per hour) or 5% (Part time) by electing our Pay-In-Lieu Option!

Schedules:

  • Fulltime, 80 hours per pay, 7:00am - 3:30pm and every other weekend
  • Part time, 51 hours per pay period, both 7:00am-3:30pm and 3-11pm shifts, requires every other weekend

Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in VA.
  • Customer service oriented to communicate appropriately with staff, families and outside agencies.
  • Ability to prioritize duties.
  • Ability to understand residents’ charts, doctor’s orders, residents’ plan of care, medication orders.
  • Effectively gather clinical data in regards to resident status and condition.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the long-term care setting preferred.

Essentials: 

  • Role model’s positive communication skills with all staff, customers, guests, residents and families.
  • Follows all shift routines, policies and procedures regarding the monitoring of vital signs, weights, administration of medications and treatments.
  • Immediately reports any suspected abuse or neglect per facility policy.
  • Accurately utilizes electronic systems of documentation as required per facility policy.
