About the job:

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Pay: $17.50-$21.00 (Based on experience)

The In-Home Scheduler will provide efficient scheduling and other administrative services to the Personal Care Services department, resulting in the delivery of excellent customer service.

Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Minimum two (2) years administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, E-mail and the Internet
  • Well-developed oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; consumer focused
  • Attentive to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High degree of professionalism; ability to deal with extremely confidential information
  • Works well independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memo; ability to prepare written correspondence

Preferred Skills:

  • One-year staffing/scheduling preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects to a deadline

Essentials: 

  • Oversee the scheduling of caregivers to ensure PACE participants are receiving personal care services as identified in their plan of care.
  • Develop, maintain and update the Personal Care Services schedule.
  • Assist Home Care Coordinator in meeting the staffing budget goals by acting as a communications liaison, reconciling agency staff bills against schedules, and by tracking agency hour usage.
  • Maintain files record keeping; track and report attendance occurrences in accordance with the attendance policy and write up corrective actions as needed for Personal Care Services Staff and turn them in to the Personal Care Services Supervisor.
  • Develop and maintain a good rapport with Personal Care Services Staff to ensure their willingness to be flexible and to pick up hours when needed.
  • Provide clerical support and assisting in various projects for Personal Care Services.
  • Maintaining medical records including tracking, filing and data entry.
