YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR OVERNIGHT CRISIS INTERVENTION SPECIALIST
The typical schedule is Tuesday through Friday from 9 pm until 7 am, with occasional weekends as needed.
You are at the forefront of providing crucial support and assistance to individuals facing mental health crises and substance abuse challenges.
Your role is multifaceted, involving face-to-face interactions with those in crisis, where you assess their situation, offer counseling, and make vital connections to appropriate services.
You work in a compassionate and empathetic manner while maintaining a deep understanding of the least restrictive interventions.
Your technical proficiency shines as you utilize computer systems to search for information and enter essential data into electronic records.
You are a rapid responder, promptly attending to crisis situations, conducting evaluations, and ensuring efficient data entry.
Your dedication extends to completing intake assessments and initiating care coordination, particularly for clients in various specialized programs.
Moreover, your follow-up phone calls within 24 hours demonstrate your genuine concern for clients' well-being, as you ensure they comprehend follow-up instructions and have accepted referrals.
By participating in staff meetings, training, and supervisory sessions, you continually refine your skills, staying up-to-date with the latest practices and regulations in the field.
Your role involves state-mandated pre-screening interviews, which contribute to vital assessments for the Certificate of Need process, showcasing your dedication to both your clients and licensure requirements.
Finally, you provide crucial clinical reviews, offering your expertise to staff members in need. You have a unique blend of compassion, technical competence, and unwavering commitment to helping those in need during their most challenging moments!
