Volunteer Behavioral Health is now seeking a CSU LPN for the Murfreesboro, Tn area.

Starting Pay: $34PH ($1.00 weekend)

(Night shift) 7pm-7am

EXEMPLARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Implement policies and procedures of the Crisis Stabilization Unit.

·Assist Psychiatric Technicians when needed in providing for the daily living activities of the patients.

·Implement procedures for providing the medical needs ordered for each patient while in CSU.

·Screen calls and questions pertaining to medication.

·Arrange educational sessions for patients pertaining to medication.

· Document all patients having had a handout sheet and education session pertaining to their medications. Also, patients’ family when indicated.

· Monitor lab work within the guidelines pertaining to the specific medication.

· Help maintain and support patients receiving medications by individual evaluation and/or group.

·Complete Admissions Assessments and create Treatment Plans.

·Phone or dispense prescriptions (signed by MD/NP) in consultation with the Psychiatrist/Nurse Practitioner.

·Participate in staffing.

·Staff will assist with cleaning and will take responsibility for cleaning client rooms upon discharge in the absence of regular cleaning staff or company. Staff will clean all food service areas and common areas in the absence of regular cleaning staff or company.

·Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Licensed as an LPN in the State of Tennessee and experience working in the mental health field.
