Volt is immediately hiring Cyber Security Engineer in Aurora, CO.
As Cyber Security Engineer you will:

• Looking for an individual to join the Cyber Security Engineering team for a Cyber Security Engineer position supporting Continuous Monitoring and maintenance of Authority to Operate on customer.
• The ideal candidate will have a cyber experience across the full spectrum of cyber operations from a mission execution perspective, to include vulnerability management, compliance management, database, and enterprise information security infrastructure.
• Review and adjudicate Tenable/Nessus Findings.
• Vulnerability and compliance scanning and mitigation.
• STIG manual hardening checks.
• Plan of action and milestones (POAM) work off.
• Assessment and Authorization Support (A&A).
• Cybersecurity engineering in support of system development.

This is a 12 Month full time Contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Clearance Required: Active Secret
Required Experience:

• Demonstrated experience with Tenable Security Center, Nessus for vulnerability and compliance assessment.
• Hands on experience in manual hardening and system compliance.
• An advanced degree in STEM with 5 years of engineering experience.
• Familiar with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) as described in NIST Special Publication 800-37, NIST Special Publication 800-53 and NIST Special Publication 800-171.
• Must possess Security Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II (Security or equivalent) Compliant Certification.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Understanding of DoD RMF Certification and Accreditation Processes, assessing and validating compliance with IA controls and developing and maintaining associated certification and accreditation documentation.
• Security Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT-III (CISSP or equivalent) Compliant Certification.
• Self-Starter requiring limited direction and supervision.

Pay Rate: $90.00 - $97.00 per hour
