Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Technician in Austin, Texas.
As an Maintenance Technician you will:

• Perform preventive maintenance, general maintenance and repair, including such things as installation of equipment, work tables, tools or other items,
• Maintain calibration of measurement and test equipment, including all applicable records.
• Follow process instructions, Manufacturing Standard Procedures (MSP's) and verbal instructions from the Site Operations Manager,
• Maintain, records, checklists and log books on maintenance performed and inspections conducted.
• Maintain tools and test equipment in a serviceable state.
• Adhere to plant and corporate safety policies.
• Fabricate and assemble production fixtures.
• Fill out supply request forms to order materials necessary to ensure that all production equipment operates in an efficient manner.

This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to communicate uncomplicated data, instructions, production results, quality issues, and similar subjects both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to distinguish between the colors of red, orange, yellow, blue, green and violet. Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read, write and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• High degree of manual dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination.
• Hands-on familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematic functions and formulas. Can calculate ratios, percentages, and fractions.
• Uses Excel spreadsheets and can write simple formulas and create spreadsheets.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 or more years of work experience as a maintenance person in an industrial environment is required.

Payrate: $22.00 to 24.00/hourly or salary

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
