We are looking for a Barback to join our team and support our Bartenders! Barbacks assists with behind-the-bar tasks, such as restocking the bar and preparing garnishes. If you're interested in kickstarting your career in the hospitality industry, this is a great opportunity to get first-hand experience of how a bar operates. Ultimately, you will help ensure our guests get excellent customer service and enjoy their time at our establishment. To be considered for this role, you should be legally authorized to work in a bar where alcoholic beverages are served and consumed. You should also be available to work shifts including, evenings, weekends and some holidays.

Reponsibilities

• Tidy up tables, counters and other bar areas
• Collect empty glasses
• Restock the bar with straws, napkins and coasters
• Prepare mixers, juices and cocktail garnishes
• Change out beer kegs
• Restock liquor bottles
• Remove trash
• Wipe down drink spills
• Refill ice bins
• Change sanitizer out every couple hours
• Assist the Bartenders during rush hours

Requirements

• Minimum age to serve alcohol (18 )
• MAST permit (class 12 or class 13)
• Food Handlers permit
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Team spirit
• Basic Knowledge of bar menu items
• Physical ability to lift beer kegs, hold trays of glassware and stand during shift
• Flexibility to work during events, evenings, weekends and some holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.28 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
