Infotainment Project Analyst - SET

- EE 000087 - Hybrid
Primary Location United States-Tennessee-Chattanooga


Role Summary:

The development project representative for SET E2 (infotainment) components during pre-series and series production. This person is responsible for driving and tracking the readiness of infotainment components relevant to the Chattanooga vehicle products (Atlas, ID4, etc), and serves as the primary contact for these components to project partners in production and product management.

Role Responsibilities:

Project Support SET E2 (10%)

  • Tracking component readiness for Chattanooga production milestones
  • Driving proactive discussions with project partners and suppliers to ensure milestones are met
  • Support the preparation and approval of documentation and releases for pre-series and series production
  • Regular status report preparation
  • Primary contact to the Chattanooga vehicle project teams during the development lifecycle for SET E2 components

Support for Chattanooga Factory (10%)

  • Supports with data collection and analysis of infotainment and connectivity topics during pre-series and series programs at the Chattanooga factory


Qualifications:

Years of Experience:

  • 3 years of related engineering experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent - required
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent - desired

Skills:

  • Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creative and strategic
  • Communication skills – interpersonal, presentation and written
  • Computer savvy – skilled in the use of software
  • Integration – joining people, processes or systems
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Resource management
  • German skills written and verbal are advantageous

Specialized Skills - Required:

  • Project management, including coordination of project stakeholders which are not direct reports
  • Working knowledge of the product development process
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively across the organization
  • Experience bringing products to series production

Specialized Skills - Desired:

  • Experience with Volkswagen control modules
  • Experience bring automotive electronics to series production
  • Understanding of automotive development processes and norms

Work Flexibility:

  • Travel to suppliers and VW facilities
