Material Handler – Warehouse/Manufacturing

Experience:

1-2 years material handling or warehouse shipping and receiving preferred.

Prior forklift operation preferred

Education:

High school or equivalent.

Job Description:

• Load, unload and move material and parts within plant using Forklift, hand truck, electrical dolly, or other material-handling device.
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, record shortages to appropriate department, verify items match information on bills of lading.
• Enters receiving information on computer, prints labels
• Maintain company production and quality standards.

Physical Demands: The employee is required to stand, walk, pull, and bend to the floor.

- exert 20 to 70 pounds of force occasionally, and/or

- exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or

- exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Working Conditions: Warehouse/manufacturing environment. Exposure to some noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and parts.
