Volare Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as the Regional Director of Clinical Services in Northern OR.

The Regional Director of Clinical Services will be responsible for the provision of expert advice and oversight to facility management personnel and line staff to ensure that systems are maintained to operate the facility effectively and efficiently in a manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

**This role will be supporting the Woodburn, Keizer, Corvallis, and Eugene areas. **

Safety

  • Comply with all Company safety policies, regulations and requirements regarding fire and life safety.
  • Comply with all Company safety policies regulations and requirements involving employee safety and patient safety. This includes but is not limited to: a zero tolerance for harassment and violence; following infection control procedures; following safe patient handling as required with your specific job position.
  • May be required to assist in the evacuation of patients during emergency situations.
  • Meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility.

Residents Rights and Positive Relationships

  • Understand, comply with and promote all rules and regulations regarding residents rights.
  • Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators, to include presenting a professional appearance.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of previous Long Term Care nursing experience is required.
  • At least 3 years of Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Consulting experience is required.
  • Must have previous regional experience.
  • A current, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in State of practice.
  • Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
  • Ongoing pursuit of Continuing Education Credits in clinical subjects, management, personal growth and development.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of infection control principles and practices.
  • Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, and policies and procedures that are necessary for providing quality care.
  • Capable of researching new methods and principles to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and positively with staff, residents and family members.
  • Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills. Proven decision making and analytical skills.
  • Able to relate positively, favorably and cooperatively with others, including employees, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.
  • Positive attitude toward the elderly.
