We are looking for an exceptionally qualified and experienced occupational therapist to work as an independent contractor for a school district in Louisiana. In a remote learning setting, the chosen applicant will be in charge of offering teletherapy services to pupils.
Job description
For the remainder of the 23-24 school year, this position will cover general duties, but not limited to, evals, assessments, and some paperwork.

• 4/1/24 5/27/24
  • Chance for contract renewal for 24-25
• Full time; 37.5 hours per week
  • 7:30am - 3:00pm
• K 12th caseload
• Consultative services, progress monitoring, assessments, direct therapy, etc.

Job Qualifications

• Requires a Masters or Doctorate level degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active teaching/education cert - LA Ancillary Certification
• Valid Louisiana state license as an Occupational Therapist

VocoVision Requirements:
Must have license
At least two years of school experience
Home computer with high internet speed
Must be tech savvy (we do have onboarding sessions for the software!)
Must provide your own liability insurance and be comfortable with being an independent contractor
