*Role Description

Lead and collaborate on projects with other design professionals, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, and design development. Perform design and presentation drafting. Develop space planning concepts. Provide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications and material selections required for construction. Participate in selection of furniture systems and specifications. Formulate designs that are aesthetic and conducive to intended purposes. Assist in managing client expectations and consultant coordination.

• Degree in Interior Design from an accredited university
• Eight plus years of related experience with a focus on commercial interior design/architecture
• Knowledge of the full design process
• Proficient in REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and other applicable programs
• Possess 3D computer modeling skills (Sketchup, 3D Max, Rhino, etc)
• NCIDQ certificate a plus
• LEED a plus
• Flexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development
• Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, staff
• Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of management and staff
• Excellent organizational skills
