What you will do:
- Process applications for SIDA badges in accordance with airport security regulations and policies.
- Electronic Fingerprinting
- Verify the identity and background of individuals applying for SIDA badges.
- Maintain accurate records of badge applications, renewals, and revocations.
- Assist applicants in completing required paperwork and provide guidance on the badging process.
- Coordinate with airport authorities, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Conduct SIDA training sessions for new badge applicants on security policies and procedures.
- Monitor and update security databases with current and accurate information.
- Collaborate with airport personnel to address and resolve any badging-related issues or concerns.
- Stay informed about changes in security regulations and communicate updates to relevant parties.
- Provide excellent customer service to individuals seeking SIDA badges.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
- Have an active NYS Security Guard License
- Ability to pass SIDA Badge background check
- Ability to interact professionally with the public with a focus on customer service
- Proven experience in a security or badging-related role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with airport security regulations and procedures is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using computer applications and databases.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug test.
- Familiarity with the badging process and relevant airport security regulations.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to professionalism.
