The Yard Helper position is responsible for maintaining all aspects of yard maintenance including truck and trailer cleaning, light landscaping, and housekeeping of the Yard, and assisting with loading and off-loading of trucks entering the yard.

Essential Job Duties:

• Washing exterior of trucks and trailers in compliance with company cleaning policies and procedures.
• Inspect cleanliness of trucks interiors for compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Maintains company yard and grounds area in a neat and orderly manner and report potential hazards.
• Light landscaping and yard upkeep.
• Assistance with loading and off-loading trucks in the yard.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and underneath truck at heights below 3 feet.
• Complete required monthly training.
• Perform daily inspection of all equipment utilized in performing job tasks.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Identify and report safety hazards in the yard.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Essential Job Requirements:

• High School Graduate or equivalent a plus
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Uses logical step-by-step procedures and problem solving.
• Ability to operate a power washer.
• Work full shifts doing repetitive motions in any weather.
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

• Manages time effectively.
• Must be willing to help with other responsibilities as needed.
• Ability to work independently or as a team.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
