Summary:

In this role, you will provide leadership, oversight and coordination of supply chain distribution and logistics for the provider facilities. You will manage daily operations of all supply functions and you will act as the liaison between local Supply Chain Management, and the hospital facilities across the entire system. You will integrate the department's services with the hospital systems primary functions, develop and implement policies and procedures that improves department performance, and satisfaction. You will compile and prepare reports and analyses showing progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, analyze and manage implementation of automation, maximize Material Management Information Systems (MMIS) PAR reorder points, PAR supply location management as well as methods and systems for increased accountability, productivity and standardization of products.

  • Manage the building out and scaling of logistics to improve the ability to grow business in the market.

  • Facilitate developments and insights gained while working with provider processes.

  • Ensure MMIS system is set up properly for PAR replenishment Min/Max, inventory adjustments, annual physical inventory, month end inventory reporting, cycle counting and adjustments.

  • Manage entire distribution process, including PAR location management and regular review of product velocity, product location labeling, end user satisfaction and department specific special projects such as OR and Cath Lab.

  • Create clear responsibilities and accountabilities for the distribution team and effectively integrate those responsibilities with individual and team responsibilities. Document standard work and routine measurement of performance against those standards.

  • Develop and lead continuous improvement activities with the Supply Chain Field Operations Team to ensure stable core business processes deliver providers expectations.

  • Create corrective action routes based on standardized problem solving methodologies that address processes that fall out of process control.

  • Ensure that all activities and processes meet institutional standards and regulations (e.g., JCAHO, CMS, and OSHA).

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in healthcare and supply chain logistics is required.

  • Strong experience with Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and negotiating contracts highly preferred.

  • Some experience with Tableau, Power BI, or CRM systems (Salesforce) a plus.

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or related is a plus.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$135,200.00 - $201,200.00
