Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Psychiatrist for a permanent salaried position in Kentucky. Excellent salary, benefits, and relocation package available.Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' mental health conditions and diagnose disorders using different assessment techniques.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including psychotherapy and medication prescriptions.
- Monitor the effects of medication and make adjustments as necessary.
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric services.
- Counsel patients and their families on mental health issues and coping strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Stay informed about new research, treatments, and medications in the field of psychiatry.
- Participate in professional development activities and attend conferences.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- KY Medical License or eligible for a license
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active and unrestricted DEA License.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Psychiatrist.
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultural sensitivities.
- Experience in providing both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care.
- Experience in conducting psychological assessments and evaluations.
- Experience using electronic health record systems.
