Responsibilities :
Operating a multitude of welding equipment.
Working primarily on aluminum, steel, and galvanneal requiring a high grade of skill.
Inspect materials or structures requiring welding.
Monitoring processes while staying aware of overheating levels and safety.
Welding is a joining process in which metals, or sometimes plastics, are heated, melted and mixed to produce a joint with properties similar to those of the materials being joined.
There are three main components needed to create a weld.
These are : A heat source such as an electric arc, a flame, pressure, or friction.
Requirements :
Read blueprints and weld metals according to customer or employer requirements.
Perform set up of machine.
Perform preventative maintenance as required.
Examine created welds to check for defects / flaws.
Perform safety and quality checks.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED / equivalent
1 Years of experience in welding.
Note :
Special Equipment Required Steel Toe Shoes .
Shifts below
2ND MON-FRI 3 : 30PM-11 : 30PM
3RD SUN-FRI 11 : 30PM-7 : 30AM SHIFT.
There will be on the job training but candidate must have exp in welding!
Training will be on 1st shift mon-fri 7 : 30am-3 : 30pm (for about 2 weeks).
Temp To Hire For The Right Candidate.
MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR 2ND AND 3RD SHIFT.
