Role:- Data Engineer

Johnston, RI

FTE- Full time

Description

5 years experience:

Familiarity with current technologies used in the development of business applications and the techniques used to analyze and solve business problems.

Experience deciding upon techniques and tools to be used in current computing architectures.

Familiar in the development and implementation of business applications in current computing architectures.

Proficiency in relevant technologies for packaged systems and tools including database skills, query language, reporting, scripting languages, integration patterns, test automation patterns and DevOps patterns.

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Confirmed ability in translation of requirements into backlog tasks and models into highly effective, technical processes and/or business system designs.

Good interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to translate technical concepts as appropriate to the level of the audience.

Ability to work self-directed and as part of a team on solutions of varying size; works well and leads on cross-functional solution teams and shows dedication to tasks, solution, and to team.

Leads the effort to translate written requirements and/or requirements into technical solutions. Makes decisions with respect to appropriate information technology tools and techniques to be used to solve a problem.

Knows when to involve peers within the organization and/or collaborates with the team to expedite achievement of results.

Education

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Bachelors Degree preferred.
