Job Summary: The Automotive Billing Clerk is responsible for accurately processing and managing financial activities related to automotive sales, services, and repairs. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining financial integrity of operations and customer satisfaction. The Automotive Billing Clerk role requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Candidate needs to be comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review contracts for accuracy, ensuring correct pricing, discounts, and taxes are applied.
• Ensure that all relevant documentation is true and complete.
• Be steadfast in meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly deadlines.
• Create exact billing data records for automotive sales, services, repairs, and parts using the company's software.
• Verify and reconcile sales and service orders against inventory records, pricing agreements, and service contracts.
• Cross-reference general ledger with sales and service records to ensure consistency and resolve any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to gather missing information or clarify details.
• Address customer and department inquiries with clear explanations in a professional manner.
• Be willing and able to learn from direction and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines and company policies.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and terminology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in the automotive accounting preferable.
• Prior familiarity with ERP or billing systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
