Vitense Golfland is a family-owned business, founded in 1955 by George Vitense, a PGA Professional, Past President of the Wisconsin PGA, and member of the Madison Sports Hall of Fame. Today, the business is owned and operated by George’s grandson, Joel Weitz, PGA Professional and two-time past President of the Wisconsin PGA, and his wife, Sarah. Joel and Sarah are committed to continuing the family vision to be a leader in the golf entertainment industry by providing a memorable guest experience with the help of spectacular team members.
The facility includes a Top 50 Rated Golf Range in the US wit2516 heated golf suites, powered by TopTracer and open year-round, both day and night. We also provide a lit 9-hole, par 3 golf course for day and night play; one indoor and two outdoor #1 rated miniature golf courses in Wisconsin; Signature Hole Grill & Bar, with service directly to the golf suites; two multi-sport Full Swing Simulators; Vitense Golf Academy, offering lessons from PGA and LPGA Professionals; and more!
Vitense Golfland is looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Successful Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.
The Bartenders’ responsibilities will include the following:
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for patrons
- Stay alert for incoming online orders to ensure timely distribution to servers or runners
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences to make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification to confirm legal drinking age
- Learn specialty drinks menus for faster service and the ability to make recommendations
- Keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
This position provides a generous hourly wage, plus tips.
Requirements:
- Must be 18
- Need to have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- 2-4 year's experience
- Bartending License
