Job Overview:

• Develop new products, line extensions and product reformulations that support the Vitamin World (VW) brand strategy and increase VW and Precision Engineered sales and profit in US and Asian Markets.
• Support VP of Merchandising in identifying a strategic vision of product innovation and developing marketing plans.
• Helps create Structure Function Claims for products based on available studies for dietary ingredients.

Expectations:

• The Product Manager will play a key role in the management and development of our nutritional supplements product line. This position will involve overseeing the production process, ensuring quality control standards are met, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market. Additionally, the Product Manager will be responsible for conducting research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets in the nutritional supplement manufacturing sector and managing the pre-acquisition and post-acquisition integration process.
• - Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a similar discipline preferred
• - 5 years of relevant experience in PD, planning and execution
• - Manage the end-to-end production process for our nutritional supplement products, from sourcing raw materials to manufacturing and packaging.
• - Ensure that all products meet quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
• - Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to develop new products and improve existing ones.
• - Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential acquisition targets.
• - Evaluate potential acquisition targets based on strategic fit, financial performance, and operational capabilities.
• - Lead the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, including financial analysis, legal review, and operational assessment.
• - Develop integration plans for acquired manufacturing facilities and oversee the post-acquisition integration process.
