Skills:

• Provide direct nursing care to the residents
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants
• Ensure supervision is in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility
• Maintain the highest degree of quality care

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Assist in the development and implementation of resident care plans
• Monitor and document resident progress and report any changes to the physician and Director of Nursing
• Assist with resident activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Ensure resident rooms are clean and tidy
• Assist with meal service and feeding residents as needed
• Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
• Participate in staff meetings and in-service training programs

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in the state of Tennessee
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Assisted Living and Memory Care facility
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
