Job Description:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. The CNA will assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist Residents with Activities of Daily Living per the plan of care
- Take and record vital signs
- Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional condition to licensed nursing personnel
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
- Assist with serving meals and snacks
- Assist with activities and programs for residents
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Indiana
- MUST be CPR and First Aide Certified
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
