Vitality Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine is Hiring an Office Manager/Patient Coordinator Near Savannah, GA

We are looking for a fantastic new Office Manager!

Our office is a very nice and relaxing space to work in.

This position is Monday-Friday. Hours are 8:30 - 5:30, M-Th leaving earlier on Fridays. Pay range is $18-20/ hour DOE. 40 hours a week. Bonuses and PTO benefits. Free acupuncture treatments as part of your benefits.

Here are the most important things we are looking for:

*Amazing customer service skills (you love people, they love you, you like helping!)

*A “quick study”--meaning you are a bright and observant person. If you are often called “Smart” that’s a good thing, in our book.

*Strong attention to detail

*Ability to prioritize and manage projects and systems, and delegate as necessary, with the follow through to match

*Great communication skills–you are a proactive communicator, and are committed to a “more communication is always better” ethos.

*Emotional maturity, and the willingness and ability to be a great team player. You get that healthy relationships are important. (we practice a lot of systems to cultivate this as a team–we are human beings, after all.)

*Reliable

*Comfortable with technology such as scheduling software, text, email, telephone, taking payments (we will train you!!). If technology makes you nervous or stresses you out, this is not the right fit for you.

*Mature–you’ve got some life experience under your belt and its made you wiser, but you are still interested in that thing called “beginner’s mind”.

*Management experience–if you’ve worked in a classroom, run a household, managed teams / projects, that’s a bonus.

Good sense of humor. You are grounded, but not stuck. Someone who sees a system, can see its value, and how it might even be improved upon. You can listen, and observe, and make suggestions after gathering information. You are willing to get curious about issues, rather than reacting with your mood or out of defensiveness. You might be excited about holistic health, but you are not a provider of any kind of holistic health at all. This is an important role in our clinic, and we want you to dedicate your full attention to it while you are at work. And…we are human beings doing work with human beings. We have an excellent team. We have fun, everyone pitches in, we get along and can do without the office drama. We aren’t perfect, but in our team, we dearly value clear communication, getting curious together about all the things, and helping to make the world a better place, one acupuncture treatment and patient interaction at a time. This is a management position that is both patient facing, and administrative, and you will be part of the leadership team. You would

also be available to start working with us within an efficient time frame (we understand the need for a two week notice, however!)

- Oversee administrative duties to support the efficient functioning of the medical office
- Implement budgeting strategies to optimize office resources
- Utilize organizational skills to maintain a structured and efficient work environment

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in medical office management or related field
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in clerical tasks and office management procedures
- Strong understanding of training development and human resources practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in budgeting within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
