Job Location: New York NY.
Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 Contract.
Pay Rate: $180/hr for onsite patient care, $140/hr for telemedicine lab review.
Schedule: Day shift, June, Flexible

Full Description

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Physician to provide diver physical exams for marine construction workers on site at a private business in New York, NY . Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide diver physical exams for marine construction workers.
• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns.
• Provide clearance for fitness for duty for the workers
• Document findings and prepare reports.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following post graduate training.
• Occupational medicine experience preferred.
• Current license to practice in the state of NY (cross state license preferred).
• Experience with divers physical exam.
• Diving Medical Examiner (DMAC Level I or above) strongly preferred
• Experience with reading and interpreting EKG chart.
• Experience with interpreting and clearing for spirometry & audiometry preferred.
• Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccine.
• Must be able to commute throughout NYC
