Full Description

VitalCheck Wellness, on behalf of Photon Medical Group, is seeking a culturally sensitive and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. Patient care will be provided in-person and virtually at one of NYC Health Hospitals’ Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Centers (HERRCs) making a difference in the lives of migrants.

Responsibilities

• Provide each of your assigned migrant population patients with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with each guest’s assessment and care plan and as may be directed by your supervisor.
• Adhere to clinical and safety standards and protocols.
• Provide care with cultural sensitivity and compassion.
• Other related duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements

• Current and valid Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) of Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in the state of New York.
• CPR/ BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of patient care principles, practices, and techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Compassion and empathy for patients and their families.
• Must be able to commute to New York City and Boroughs.
• Bilingual in Spanish a Plus.
• Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of diverse patient populations.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and documentation.
• Must be able to commute to New York City and Boroughs.
