As a Medical Laboratory Generalist with Vitalant, you support our life saving mission by providing support in IRL (Immuonhematology Reference) Lab as you perform reagent, supply and inventory management, patient data entry and provide customer service.

As a Medical Laboratory Generalist, Vitalant will provide Blood Bank training opportunities to guide your career path as you work toward MLS state certification.

What to Expect

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Pay: 21.35 - 23.25 per hour (depending on experience)

Shift Differential: Shift 2 - 8%

We’re looking for someone who can:

• Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services
• Maintains accurate records and documentation
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify equipment malfunctions
• Perform preparation and prequalification’s of reagents
• Manage Special Red Cell inventory and distribution

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Science
• Great customer service and interpersonal skills
