We are looking for a self motivated individual passionate about customer service, operating equipment, optimizing experience and enhancing the effectiveness of our team.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Inspect and sort various metals
• Check customer's scrap metal for anything that may be hazardous material
• Direct customers where to dump their scrap metal
• Communicate with heavy equipment operators and other team members to move scrap metal
• Provide exceptional customer service
• May be trained and asked to operate heavy equipment
• Other job duties as assigned by the manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
• Problem solving skills and stellar organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to exert frequently up to 40 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
• Required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
